Islamic boarding schools, Islamic educational institutions that are deeply rooted in society, have the potential to develop into sharia economic learning centers, business development centers, and drivers of the halal economic ecosystem. Islamic boarding school social capital is very important to create a productive and ethical business environment. This social capital includes collectivistic culture, student and alumni networks, and moral legitimacy. The role of alumni is to strengthen MSMEs through mentoring, transfer of managerial skills, ability to obtain sharia financing, and development of marketing networks. The synergy between Islamic boarding schools and alumni is changing the MSME ecosystem to be better prepared for digitalization, halal market growth and contemporary competition. This study shows that cooperation can strengthen the sustainability of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), increase the competitiveness of local products, and provide greater economic benefits for society. Therefore, strengthening small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) based on Islamic economic values can be a model for inclusive and sustainable empowerment of the people.
2026-05-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Qiblatuna
