Many housewives in rural areas still lack proper understanding of menstruation, both in terms of health and spirituality. This often leads to misinformation passed on to their children and confusion in practicing religious worship during menstruation. This educational activity was conducted in Kejawan Village and involved approximately 70 mothers, aiming to improve literacy regarding menstrual hygiene management and religious understanding of menstruation, purity, and istihadhah. The activity was carried out through an educational forum and interactive discussion. The results showed that after the session, most participants were able to correctly distinguish between menstruation, the period of purity, and istihadhah, both from a medical perspective and its implications in worship practices. Participants also showed high enthusiasm, as reflected in the number of questions raised, particularly on how to differentiate menstruation from purity in religious contexts. This activity demonstrates that an integrative approach combining health and spirituality is effective in enhancing mothers’ understanding of menstruation. Such education is essential to be conducted continuously to foster a healthy, conscious, and spiritually grounded family environment.
